Hello there!  Today we are showcasing some past Vintage images over on the A Day for Daisies blog.  I picked this sweet little girl picking flowers.  Isn't she cute?!! 

I've made a 4x4 Post It Note holder.  They make great teacher gifts.  I've made so many of these I was able to adapt it to this bigger size note pad.  I started with my base cardstock at 4 1/4 x 9 1/2.  I scored at 4 1/8, 4 1/2, 4 7/8.  If you've never made one before there are quite a few tutorials on utube :-)

CIU#94: Spring flowers

Hello there! It's time for another great challenge on the Cut It Up blog.  Our theme is Spring Flowers.  So easy, right?!!  Our wonderful sponsor is Bugaboo Digi Stamps. 

It's been a while since I actually cut layers of flowers and assembled them for a card.  It was fun!  I cut the layers in various sizes and then pierced a hole through the center and attached them to my card with yellow brads.  I then scrunched up the petals to fluff them up and add texture.  And I added some Stickles randomly on some of the petals to make them shine a bit.  It's hard to see in the photo.
