Well Wishes

Hello!  My Sister-in-law had to have knee replacement surgery two weeks ago.  So, to cheer her up a bit I made her this card.

Elegant Edges Cricut cart - burst @ 5 1/4 (oblong feature)

Oriental Trading co -button, brown/white twine, pop dots, brown ink for edges/shading, Stampabilities - sentiment stamp, American Crafts lace in brown sugar, Stickles in Fruit Punch applied to the button, Glossy Accents to adhere the button.

Love You a Latte

Hello!  I created a thank you note for my parents who recently visited us for  my daughter's 6th birthday.  I was playing with a Lite cart I got on clearance :-)
Recipe:
A2 card in brown

Love You a Latte cart - love latte @3", cafecup2 @ 4", donut2 @1 1/2"

Corner rounder, pop dots, MME Lime Twist Life of the Party "Charmed" twine, Glossy Accents to anchor bow and to make the frosting on the donut shiny.

CC Wkly Challenge #60: Summer Lovin'

Hello!  Last week I was able to pick up a few of the Lite carts at Wal-mart for half price.  Yay!  So, I used Crocs Rule for this summer card.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello!  I have one more father's day card to share!  This one was sent to my dad.  This is my first project using Campin' Critter Cricut cart.  What a cute cart!

Father's Day card

Hello!  I have a Father's day card to share today.  I recently picked up the seasonal Father's Day Cricut cart on clearance at JoAnn's.  Yay!  Just in time!  This one was sent to my Father-in-law. 
Recipe:
Cardbase in Kraft.  Finished card is 3 1/2 x 8"
DCWV Stack 5 - patterned paper

Father's Day Cricut cart - motorcycle @ 3"
CB folder- from the Retro Kitchen set

IO stamp from the Mini Messages set, brads from Oriental Trading Co, pop dots, Sew Easy floss in cream soda.  I cut the grey by hand and applied it to the back of the cut.  I also cut the blue seat by hand.

CC Magazine Challenge: Dress Up a Cricut Collectible

Aloha!  This was such a fun project to work on.  I used the pink Cricut figure and turned her into a Hawaiian surfer girl.  I used sand that I brought back from one of our trips to Mexico :-)

TC Sophisticated Cricut cart - flowers for the lei @ 1" (I used two of the bigger ones for her glasses)

All Occasions Cake Art Cricut cart - grass border @ 1"  (for her skirt)

MME Lime Twist Life of the party "Be You" twine for her bow and the lei, sand from Mexico.

Teacher Gifties

Hello!  My son had his last day of preschool for this year two weeks ago.  I'm just a little behind in blogging this one :-)  I made his teachers little note pads with their initals.

DCWV - Stack 7 - print paper

Elegant Edges Cricut cart- Swirl1@5" (using the book feature), Doily@3"
Kate's ABC Cricut cart- 'R'@2" (Font 2)

CB folder - swiss dot

I used cereal boxes to cut the covers.  Deep cut blade @ 6, speed @low, pressure @max, multi cut@3.  White paper for the inside pages of the book cut @ 5x4 1/2"-rounded the bottom corners.  White Marvy gel pen for doodles, pop dots, ribbons are Celebrate It (M's) or Ribbon Boutique.  Cinch binding wire in white @1".

CC Wkly Challenge#59: Birthday

Hello!  The challenge is to use birthday balloons as inspiration and use some string or twine in a fun way.  I created a card for my little miss for her 6th birthday.
Recipe:
Card base in white 4x9" (fits into a legal sized envelope)

Create a Critter Cricut cart - monkey @ 3 1/2"
Birthday Bash Cricut cart - balloons @ 2 1/2", '6' @ 1/2"

CB folders- swiss dot, seeing spots

The banners I just cut by hand 2x7, 2x5, 2x3.  I used the leftover scraps to  make a fun confetti look at the bottom of the card.

Pop dots, Sew Easy floss in candy stripe, glossy accents to adhere the twine strings on the balloons (I tied knots in the ends of the strings to make them appear to be atached to the balloons).

TY card for Coach Adam

Hello!  My daughter recently finished up the Spring soccer season so I created this card. The team signed it and presented it to Coach Adam for a job well done :-)

Recipe:
DCWV -Stack 7 - patterned paper

Boys Will Be Boys Cricut cart- soccer ball @ 3 1/2", Coach Adam @3/4", Rocks @1 1/2", Thanks (inside)@ 1"

Pop dots.  I cut the bottom of the soccer ball image off so I could put my own word [Rocks instead of Soccer].  Easy peasy :-)
