I made this card and box for a little girl that lives next door.  I put some hair bows and matching bracelets into the box as part of her gift.  Her party was last Saturday at The Little Gym and my kiddos had a blast.

Robotz Cricut cart - '5' cut at 2"
I popped the frame up using dimensionals and then added the ribbons

box - cut using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cart and the fit-to-pg feature with 12x24 PC paper = 3 1/2 " square box when assembled
Plantin Schoolbook cart- tag cut at 1 1/2 and 1 3/4"
Accent Essentials cart - 3" scallop squares
    Robotz cart - 'V' cut at 2"
    Floss for tag DMC #957

I would love it if you also became a follower but it's not required :-)

Happy Birthday to Kristen!!  Thanks for letting me be a part of your Birthday hop!!

PK Challenge: Let's Face it Friday - X's and O's

The challenge is to create a Peachified valentine using X's & O's somewhere on the project.    The design must be new and contain a Peachy Keen face.

I really love how this card turned out!!  This would be a great card for your mom, grandma, sister, or your BFF :-)
    Recipe:

5" square card using Kraft cardstock as the base.
DCWV Spring Stack - heart patterned paper, pink polka dot paper
DCWV textured cardstock - hot pink
    Provocraft paper- solid green cardstock

Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge - scallop square cut at 4 3/4"
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cart - heart using Roly Poly feature cut at 3 3/4"
Forever Young Cricut cart - purse2 using the shadow feature cut at 2 3/4"
Robotz Cricut cart - 'x and o' cut at 1"

Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment stamp used for the face.
TPC Studio clear stamp from the Hugs and Kisses set used for the sentiment.

    Buttons- Oriental Paper Co.
Diamond Stickles used around the purse.
    Floss - DMC #3609

I doodled around the heart and added some add'l x's & o's above and below the sentiment with a black Zig pen.  I also popped up the XO for dimension.

    Valentine card...

I tried something that is new for me with this card. I doodled on the heart and around the sentiment block to make it kind of mimic the heart patterned paper.  I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I went for it anyway.  I like the way it turned out.
    Recipe:
The Paper Studio- patterned paper and solid red paper from the All Seasons Stack

MS All Ocassion Cricut cart- white heart (heart2image-s) cut at 2 1/4" and red heart cut at 2"; black heart border (swrlbd-s)

TPC Studio -Hugs and Kisses clear stamp set used for sentiments

I doodled around the heart and sentiment with a black Zig pen.  I made white dots on the heart and 'x's & o's' around the border with a white gel pen.  I inked the edge of the sentiment block with Cranberry colored ink.  I pop dotted the heart for dimension.  I rounded the bottom left corner.

Diamond Stickles around the white part of the heart for sparkle.

Ribbon Fx-hobby lobby- white organza ribbon

The challenge is to create a card in the color purple and use Impression Obsession stamps.

I used an Impression Obsession stamp from the set called Birthday Cakes (CL203) by Leigh Hannan.

Solid purple paper is DCWV textured cardstock stack.  Polka dot paper is by the Paper Studio from The Basics stack.

I used the Cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook to cut both ovals for the frame.  The dark solid purple oval is cut at 3" and the polka dot oval frame is cut at 3 1/4".

I colored the birthday cake with colored pencils, gel pens, and a white pen.  I used Diamond Stickles it add some sparkle.

My Pink Stamper's First Blog Hop!

I collected the clues from the blog hop by visiting all of the new Pink Stamper Designers and the question is:  Do you want to join us in the challenge?  Make a card, scrapbook page, or something fun with My Pink Stamper stamps or the color PINK.

I chose to create a pink card.

    Recipe:

    Standard A2 size card.  I cut the zebra striped paper (DCWV-Stack 7) at 3 1/2 x 5 1/4.

I used PS Cricut cart for the pink rectangular frame using the fit-to-lenth button set at 4".  I also used this cart to cut out the 'thanks' using the end caps feature button with the bag/placecard image at 3/4".

I used a pink organza ribbon that I threaded through the 'thanks' cut and attached it to my card.  I popped up the frame with dimensionals to give it some depth.  I used a white gel pen to add the doodles around the inner edge of the frame and between the letters.  And I used white ink to add a distressed look to the pink frame.

Thanks Robyn for including us all in your first blog hop!

Cricut Circle: Weekly Challenge #15: Feeling Frosty!

Okay, I'm not sure I'm super excited about this card I created, but here goes...LOL!!

    Rules for this challenge:
    1) Use white paint
    2) Use a metal item
    3) Use a snowflake cut

    I used snowflake cuts from Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge.  The cuts were done at 3" (accent13), 1 1/2 & 1 1/4 (accent15).

I used white paint as the shadow of the largest snowflake by using the negative space from the cut as a stencil.  You can see if you look closely the edges are a little wonky (oops--I guess it's really homemade :-)  I also dabbed the paint on the purple background paper randomly for fun!

I used the Robotz cart for the font:  B=1", r=3/4" and second r=1/2".  I popped the letters up for some dimension.

Patterned paper is from DCWV Winter Wonder Stack.

Gem brads and metal snowflake brads are from Oriental Trading Co.  I also added some Diamond Stickles to make the small snowflakes sparkly.

    1) Use a shape other than a square or rectangle for the project.
    2) Include a number.
